It seems that people in Singapore are now very much aware of what life insurance can do for them and their families. According to the reports of Life Insurance Association Singapore, last year, there is a steady growth for the four quarters for life insurance industry. A total of around $2.1 million were received by different life insurance providers and they have stated that a total of eight percent increase was seen. Life insurance providers were very busy trying to generate leads in order to make new customers and they might not have any difficulty trying to do that. Aside from the help of lead generation companies, the people themselves were the ones who came to through the doors of every life insurance companies in Singapore and applied for life insurance.

So, does that mean to say that these b2b telemarketing lead generation companies are also partly to be blamed by the huge success of life insurance companies? Positively, yes, they are. Without the help of lead generation companies who has employed hundreds of professional appointment setters, it would be very difficult for life insurance companies in looking for qualified sales leads as they know that they are mainly focused in closing deals. There is a huge difference between closing deals and making appointments. For appointment setting, it’s best that they should leave the lead generation campaign tasks to these lead generation firms.

Because of these telemarketer’s assistance, not only they have gathered good leads and discover who were the right people to talk to but it has also sparked interest from those people who, at first, are not very appreciative with what life insurance can do for them. Some of them have received unsolicited calls but were not interested what was offered to them by someone they don’t know who was talking at the other end of the line. But, once the features were mentioned, they have developed an interest in investing on life insurance policies.

Even health insurance sales increased by thirteen percent to $186 million compared to the previous year. In December 31 of last year, it was reported that almost 3 million lives were covered by health insurance. 

This can make life insurance companies conclude that if people were properly informed, they can actually become interested in life insurance and how it can give them the chance to make sure that the future of their respective families will be brighter and better even though they won’t be there anymore.
